Recorded meticulously with a combination of large-diaphragm condenser microphones placed strategically around the bass, this collection captures every nuance and frequency of Reuben's acoustic upright in pristine, natural detail.  And with 11 different loop sessions in the library, Reuben Rogers Volume 1 covers a staggering amount of stylistic territories including bebop, blues, cinematic, folk, reggae, hip hop and modal jazz.  In addition, The Loop Loft sampled all of the open strings and 2 chromatic octaves of Reuben's bass, giving you the option to create your own bass lines with the exact same sounds from the loop sessions.

The blues. It's one of the most important musical forms, deeply rooted in history, that is a key component in almost every genre of music including jazz, soul, gospel, country, funk r&b and pop. Without the blues, modern music wouldn't have a leg to stand on.

To honor the importance and impact of the blues, we teamed again with upright bassist extraordinaire, Reuben Rogers (Wynton Marsalis, Charles Lloyd), to create the first loop library to ONLY feature blues loops. With 11 different sessions (each session containing loops 12 bars in length), the Nothing But Blues library covers a wide range of blues styles, all in a vast variety of keys and tempos.
