#LoftLessons: Making and Using a Multiband Processor in Ableton Live

Multiband processing is an indispensable tool in the modern musican's and engineer's arsenal. Simply stated, the process involves splitting an audio signal into separate parts, based on their frequency band. Doing so allows you to treat each section differently, processing the lows independently from the highs for example.

In today's lesson, we'll go over how to quickly create a Multiband Audio Rack in Ableton Live to achieve this workflow. We'll also go over some useful applications for Multiband Processing, using compression, auto-panning and more to add different character from a loop in our Dry Drums Bundle
